Solar hot water heating (also known as solar thermal) is the most efficient way to capture energy from the sun. The system works in conjunction with your existing boiler and is capable of reducing your bills for hot water heating by upto 70%. The system is simple, robust, offers substantial financial savings and may even increase the value of your property. Furthermore, given the emphasis on encouraging the use of renewable energy, planning permission is rarely required.

Solar thermal systems have been installed on houses for over 40 years, and as such, it is the most common form of renewable energy used.
